They Met in Moscow
Glasha Novikova, a modest Vologda pig farmer, is sent to Moscow for the All-Union Agricultural Exhibition. Here she meets Dagestani shepherd Musaib Gatuev. Parting, Glasha and Musaib promise to write to each other and meet at the exhibition in a year. But the stableman Kuzma, who is also in love with Glasha, stands in their way.
